Its better than biomass. Sawlogs only need to be 14cm tdub.

Do you want to do the work yourself? If not I have a contact in tthat area that would harvest it for you and market the timber. If you do want to work it yourself they would buy the timber roadside.

1st length saw log, the rest goes through the chipper whole.
Unless the trees are going through some form of harvester you will haemorrhage money trying to cut stakes and strainers

A average DBH number would be good as we could get a better idea of the crop size and then addvise on which way to go, and has it got a plant health order on it or is it clean ? as the answer to the later reflects on the price as where it goes,,

Nick from Elmsdown Forestry came up and took a look. He's keen on the timber so will have first dibs on it. I await an update from the trust on when it may be felled so will chase them. Your name is second on the list
