Happy new year everyone when it comes  Just feels like any other day / evening to me though, won't be going out, maybe im turning into a boring old recluse. Either way it'll be business as usual here, magners, cointreau, pepsi max, crisps, pizza, nibbles, TV and Internet, all within reaching distance from my chair.

Don't know what its like these days but I've had some brilliant new years eves at Cotton Trowel and Hammer pub. Thought you Stowmarket guys would have a get together somewhere round that way for new years eve but when some are working its not much fun for the others. Having a quiet evening with wife kids and a couple of friends.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY:thumbup:

I was up for work at 4.15 this morning - so I'm currently wondering if I'll still be awake when the boings go later!

We've not been out for New Year since we had the kids - now 8 and 5 - but we'll be having a relaxing evening at home, and hoping that the kids will treat us to a lie in if we let them stop up late! Pretty slim hope though I reckon!

Happy New year to all of you on here though - I do like it here! Much less bitching than most of the forums I belong to as well it has to be said!

All the best to all of you,

Andy

Well we're playing a gig this year at our local rock venue. As payment there offering us a free bar for the night:biggrin:......they'll be lucky if i can even find the stage never mind play!!:001_tongue:

What's your band mate? You're not acquainted with the 10 o'clock horses are you? They hail from your sort of area - very good mate of mine was one of the founder members.
