Which retort?!

I think  The Village Idiot has an Exeter as well . It might crop up in his current thread about managing an ancient woodland . ( a great thread by the way ) or give him a P.M.
I've been reading that thread all day - awesome and inspiring. I'm starting a mini journey like his with a 30 acre ancient woodland with over stood hazel (but no conifer really)!

I don't think 30 acre will do a charcoal effort, fr a business, my efforts at charcoal in soon stripped 10 acres in a season ( coppice basis ) . Woodland managers may be yr best bet. K
That's interesting to hear, thank you.

I'm hoping it won't be enough as I'm making that much. I love just in the national forest and theres a lot of 25 and under woodland that needs 1st thinning so I was hoping to target this as well.

Which end of the National Forest are you. I have a small wood in Yoxall
