Thought the Andrews boots were big numb clumbsy things
 
Only reason I stay with airstreams are they're nimble and good fit and steel lining in base of boot. Other than that they're cold in winter and I wear decent 100% wool socks too
See there Mark, my airstreams aren't huge they are nimble. Nuff said.

I lived in Longyearbyen, Svalbard for a number of years.  The single most important factor in keeping your feet warm, apart from staying dry, is to have enough room for your feet when wearing thick wool socks.  I have separate winter and summer boots.  My winter boots here on the mainland are one size up from what I normally use.  On Svalbard, I used boots that were two sizes up.  Never had cold feet, and I worked outdoors in some pretty harsh conditions.
