Beware of the timber being very unpredictable.

Also best requesting to see info from the woodland owner e.g correspondence from FC relating to the permissions as even on sites with severe dieback you should still have some dialogue with you area officer if your England. 

 

the volume could be quite significant so its worth considering getting a machine in for the extraction as the novelty of loading the atv trailer will wear of pretty fast

Evening all.. Just thought I'd post an update. Currently around half or just over half way through this site now and all going well. Not easy going doing everything by hand without any machines at present. Hoping to have everything down by spring and then once it's dry enough I can get in to extract timber

Me and TCD too, not to mention the wastefulness.

I had to clear the lop and top with a Cat 951 where they had left high stumps ( A little higher than those) It nearly shook my fillings out.
