Sick Pine Tree?

Help please. I moved in to this house in November 2018. A few months later I had some one here doing a tree removal for me. He saw this pine and said it’s sick and dying. That’s all he knew though. 

 

Can you tell from these photos if there’s something wrong? What can I do?

And the tree looks fine, just a few dead branches to take out if you feel so inclined.

So it’s me again. Same tree ..... losing a bunch of fresh green ends. None of the other pines in my yard are doing this?

Lot of Pines struggling around here , too hot n spider mite n general after care is rubbish - an saddened non of you pointed out the lovely lawn underneath ...... K

That damage looks like a shoot borer, where is it? In uk we have pine shoot moth but the damage is nearer the tip.

I’m in Maryland in the US
