Been comparing stihl and husqvarna hedge trimmers this evening.got several hedgers but considering replacing a Stihl HS82RC which I find it too heavy / not balanced well
Looking at similar machines anyone tried husqvarna  226HD75S / 522HDR75X.

or can anyone recommend a commercial 60-75cm petrol hedger with low vibrations/ low weight well balanced

Echo hcr185 may be worth a look. I've bought a few echo bits over the last year and am very happy with each one so far.
I picked up a secondhand hc 171, bit slow to pick up on the revs compared to the stihl 81 but give it that tenth of a second longer before you go cutting and it's not lacking in torque. Lighter to use than the stihl and anti vibe is good. Very well balanced too. Just seems not quite as strongly built to look at it.. but no trouble so far
