husky starting trouble?

I dont mean this in a bad way mate but it has got fuel in it?? properly mixed fuel??

 

I remember i guy i used to work for going MAD with a saw once, calling it all names under the sun because it wouldnt start, he must of tried for an hour, got soooooooooo mad and when he calmed down realised it had no fuel in

don't wrry, didn't take it bad but i've checked all the levels, petrol, chain lube and greased the blade. it usually starts first time every time but it cut out half way through a cut and haven't been able to start it since. i'm going to a dealer tomorrow to get some boots and trousers so i might get them to have a look.

I would mate, get them to give it a once over, I reckon thats your best bet if your going anyway, let us know how you get on

Try taking the plug out. switch to off, turn it upside down and crank it plenty of times, sometimes saws can get really badly flooded and petrol pours out the crank case.

done this and a bit of fuel came out but still won't start, just going to take it to get fixed after christmas. could be worse, maybe....

sounds like if it cut out whilke using it and aint started since then the ignition pack may well have gone , i have had this happen on my ms361 , what it the compression like ?

Could it be you over greased the blade?

or the wrong viscositty chain oil !!!!
