wheres the date on my sequoia harness??

People are mocking the comment about date not being a big deal, but it does not say much for the ability's of assessors if they cannot spot the terrible deterioration that happens to textiles over time.

 

If they deteriorate so badly it can surly be seen during the inspection.

I'm not mocking, I thought that knowing the date of a product going into use as PPE or rigging equipment would be pretty much a no brainer as LOLER is really about keeping records of said equipment more that anything else.

Seat belts are exposed to UV continually, so why are they safe????:confused1:

 

maybe they are treated with something or made from a different material

but good point dave:confused1:

maybe down to regs or en or just been overlooked
