any one else tried the falkan AT 235/85/16s? i have them on my 90 and after 4 years they have still over 60% tread left on them. they are pretty smart off road for an AT too, used the 90 plenty of times to pull the 130 out of trouble and its got BFG MTs. good all round tyre in my opinion

I've got these on my rear axle - seem quite good; done the same as you - 5 years in fact. Got the Kumho equivilent on the fronts - seem very long lasting aswell ...

Welcome to MOD Sales Online - Military Vehicles for Sale - #23097 - Michelin XZL 235/85 R16 Wheel and Tyre

I had the 7.50/16 xzls on mine.

They were excellent off road and rarely punctured.

Not brilliant on the road and very noisy.

Got 40K out of a set.

Those wider ones will probably be better, and are a good price too for the wider wheel and tyre.

Running BFG 265 AT's now, very pleased, good on the road and quiet, and plenty off road grip when pulling a trailer.

Downside is they cover the truck in crap when going through really deep mud, as they barely just fit within the wheel arches.
