This snap hook is due out in January

http://www.iscwales.com/pdf/whatshot/WH1109.pdf

I've been climbing on it for a couple of weeks now and im pretty impressed....can't really fault it. When i first got it the mechanism looked like it might be a little awkward to operate one handed but its actually very user friendly and i got used to it in no time...im not really sure how they could have made it easier to be fair.

One to keep an eye out for :thumbup1:

More for a lanyard than a flip line. Just tie it on the end of the lanyard. Cant see how they are any better than a micro krab.

thanks for the link,

but "out in january" ?

bought a new flip line back in early november - has this snap hook on it.

was unsure of it at first - probably just because of the change, and although it doesnt look as robust at first glance, im very happy with the way it performs.

however after just 6 weeks or so of use the anodising is already wearing.... so its not quite as prety as it was.
