Gents I want to mount a winch to the rear of my L200 but can’t find any info on it. I’ve mostly had Landi’s so I’m not that clued up on L200’s.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

I don’t need it for recovery.

i went with the goodwinch, they do a winch which slots on to any tow ball you just need to wire in some anderson sockets to power it. works really well for me as i dont use it often.

i have two winches from goodwinch and never had any issues, definitely use large cable to anderson sockets. i use 50mm2  stuff. david at goodwinch did anderson socket on winch for me as part of deal.

Hav you thought of portable winch? More versatile, I’d wanted a vehicle mounted electric winch f years then bought an EDER 1800 from Treadlight Forestry and it’s been fantastic!

The goodwinch option is perfect. I’ll keep the old tirfor handy though.

Take the front bumper off, inbetween the two fraim rails will be a bracket, usually has polystyrene/plastic half rugby ball kind on shape on it to help support front bumper/mitigate minor collisions. Remove said bracket and mount your cradle there.
