Hi all,

I have been reading posts on this forum and found it really helpful, now I am stuck as I can not find information anywhere.

My dads partner 550 lost drive, further inspection and the sprocket has sheared from the drum.

I can not find a replacement anywhere, I found a part number in the manual but can not cross reference it with any other saw. There is also a number on the drum but searches do not bring anything back

PN 505 303 662

Any ideals where I can find a replacement?

I  have this.  But in US.

Been parting one out.   If you get lucky it might be a replaceable rim   drum.  Not sure if spur or rim style.

Clean the faces up and get it brazed back on if the sprocket is still good.

Thanks for getting back to me, it has been brazed before. The sprocket is really work. Next option is to machine one from another drum if I can find one with the right size bearing and braze it in.

Randy Duncan in the US has a veritable " Alladins  Cave "  of new old stock parts .  Would be surprised if he did not have some .

550 650 were much the same, both had spur sprockets as standard, the part no. you had on your sprocket was the correct no. unfortunately I check and is no longer available, there is no rim sprocket listed in the parts list, there must be an Oregon replacment one available somewhere.
