Why did they need the 1" Slabs so badly? Im guessing they will still be green?

Thats a stunning Coffee Table! Love it! May nick the idea for a later build. :D:D Did you build a box under the top?

I haven't time to make stuff right now, these are a guy who buys some slabs from me.

Velcro strap[emoji106]
Sopping wet, couple of cardboard patches and a hole full of soil.
It's the ones they wanted.

Sequoia? Blasphemy! This is coastal Redwood which is on another level when it comes to quality of the wood.

 

I Iive and work in an undisclosed location deep down in some holler in northern California.

 

A few pics of the tree which produced this log. Climb em, kill em, skid em, mill em. One stop shopping.

Damn thats cool.  I had a cracking day at the Sequoia National Park when we where in Cali. Had a week dotting around before we headed for Hawaii.  Best day of the whole holiday, loved it there.
