Thanks josh , do you know if you can keep the standard Vermeer head on and use multi tips?
I have used one when I worked at mat bells and was impressed but it’s been a long while. Was thinking maybe you could just change the teeth instead of the whole set up? I seem to remember his ate bearings.

Just changed the bearings so will have to wait a while for that but it was a good set up.
I thought for some reason you could just change the standard finger type teeth for a different type ie yellow jackets.

I might be wrong matty but I think the finger teeth bolt pattern is the same as the green teeth bolt pattern. It was on my old Carlton grinder I had a few years back. If you measure the bolt centres tomorrow il check the green teeth on my predator (I’ve literally changed from multitip to green teeth on my predator this afternoon)

I can confirm this is the case.

I swapped the finger teeth straight out for green teeth on my Carlton 900 as soon as I got it.

That's a wee grinder though, it might not work on the bigger machines.

Just call Orange Plant Matty, they would know.

I have never tried the green teeth but we did swap to the yellow jackets which were far better than the standard ones on our vermeer 252.

Lasted longer and far easier to change plus being able to just loosen the bolt a bit and then turn them 180 degrees was great.

We and through a lot of teeth and I don't think I ever changed the pockets, the nut on the teeth rounded off a bit eventually but by then the teeth needed replacing anyway.
