just had a look on there website and it dont give you much info about what there chainsaw courses consist of, i personally would not bother with that and just go down the NPTC route at least if you do that your certificate will be reconised by most major UK companies and as you said your money wont be wasted,

The only tickets worth doing are NPTC the rest are jusut a waste of money.

Some old retired boys used to cut firewood/scavenage windblow on the local estate and had done for years, then the forestry managemnt company wanted all saw users to be ticketed, the whole lot of the went away to local agri college got training and forestry company refused to recognise it as not NPTC.

Have u work for the 360 and dumper tickets? As they go out of date if u don't do enough hours every 5 yrs, i thought about doing mine but that put me off. Got a few mates who have lost tickets after changing jobs and now are meant to start from scratch again.

I'm self employed doing landscaping and groundwork and I'm wanting to get on new build sites for drainage and road building and I need tickets to operate machines on site and also when I try to hire 13+ ton machines they won't hire them on self drive if I'm not qualified so basically it's a investment in myself and my business so they should be used regular and often ?

you do right by getting the correct certificates (not licence,s as quoted in the email) i have CS 30,31,32,34,35 ATV , EFAW+F and several FMOC tickets and i dont regret doing any of them as if i did not have them i would not be doing the job i do which i love doing and really enjoy,

Just being curious is the CS34/35 windblown and dangerous tree? My grandad always said to me find a trade / job I like and I'll never work a day in my life so I've found the path I like and I'm going into it with all I've got the outdoors is the place where I'm happiest ☺
