I was researching this only yesterday for my cabstar. I wonder if some decent winter tyres would make a difference?

Yes a massive difference look at general euro van winter tyres. Very similar patterns to there all terrain and c rated for commercial use. I had them on a cabstar it went further off road than some  4x4s ever do. My yard was always 6inches in mud minimum.

I find it highly worrisome some people put incorrect tyres on vehicles and send out subys or employees out with tyres not rated for the purpose. If there accidents and get investigated then there’s further issues for all involved. Get the right vehicle and tyre combo then there’s no issues.

Thanks for the info will check them out. Where I tip logs this time of year is very greasy and on a slight incline so it takes all my driving skills to pick the right line and not get the cabstar spinning sideways!
