Ripper 37 Blades

So I was trawling through Google hoping for supplier of these near me to save on postage, plus its nice to support local business, and didn't manage to find any.

I'd seen a few recomendations of where to buy them online on here and other forums but whilst I'd been searching for a local supplier one in the US came up and curious as to how expensive they would be as they are made in the UK and would need to be shipped there I had a look.

For a box of ten blades to suit a Woodmizer LT15  at 1" 1/4 its US$165 which is approximately £130 which is almost £100!!!! cheaper than the pre VAT price that I've managed to find here which is £225 plus vat and delivery for the same box of ten blades.

Whats that all about, I'd been expecting them to be good value here and pricey in the US as an imported item or have I overlooked a better value supplier here in the UK?

Thanks

I use Stephen Cull, and I am sure they are a bit less than you are being quoted.

Are you sure they are made in the UK?

It's just market price for that country. If you look at blades on Wood-Mizer's USA site they are cheaper than in the UK, just don't look at the difference in machine prices from USA to UK as you may explode!! We always pay more for stuff over here!!

I use Stephen Cull too, can't fault them or him.
