Another tree ident please. Sumac?

looks to be a huge sumac to me, but if it is then it's the biggest sumac i've ever heard of...

 

i want to stick to hickory because of the size of the tree but the latex oozing from the bark means it's in the anacardiaceae...

 

what's happening to the timber?

what size is that lump on the tractor?

The lump on the Avant was about 600kg. I have taken away all the wood. Do you want some?

Beautiful looking wood, needs to be used!

Really on the trail of this now. Everything is pointing to a member of the Anarardiacaea family.

Eliminating tropical and evergreen species I think it's Toxicodendron vernix from North America, known as Poison Sumac or Thunderwood. Opinions welcome.
