Been through this years ago... ripped bottom of 2 tanks on a crew cab I owned.

 

had enough.

 

Got a fuel tank of an ldv convoy tipper. One with a nozzle and cap with a key. Also got the brackets with it. Thinknit was maybe 80.00 ish. That bolted onto the chassis easy and was well up out of the way. From recollection i could also fuel it up without having to tip the body up slightly also. Rewired into the fuel sender on the ldv tank and guage worked too :)

 

 

Theres your fix boys. Was spot on then
