Hows this for pisstakers,did a written quote for the local real estate people who were acting as rental agents for the out of town owner.$5800 + $580 gst to take down 2 27 metre african mahoganies from the same backyard.Real estate sends me a signed purchase order and gives the go ahead,tricky job all waste had to go via the neighbours.finished the job with no problems or property damage,sent the bill, 2 weeks later I phoned real estate to see when payment was forthcoming only to be told the owner thought job was for $580 only!now is this someone trying to have a lend or what.First thing the real estate agent tries to do is distance themselves from the job and get me to deal direct with their client,no way thats happening,i threaten them with court action.so far i have recieved slightly better than half cross fingers maybe court might not be nescessary
