Is there such a Tree (Tall, thin, Easy maintenance, doesn't shed needles or lots of leaves)?

Question

Hi all

I am literally in the dog house! I need help quick.  Our Garden has Waney Lap fencing all round.  Recently after somebody decided to break into our Conservatory I got my mate to fix A 10ft Steel pole (similar to a Scaffolding Pole) to the fence post.  Then I installed a CCTV Camera on the top of the new pole looking down into our garden.  I think it's great.  My wife thinks it looks like a prison.  Her words "That pole either comes down or you disguise it somehow"  So, this got me thinking.  Is there such a tree that I can buy that is tall.  I'm talking 16 - 20 ft tall.  That is thin/narrow (because I only want it to grow upwards).  That is low maintenance (won't shed painful needles or loads of leaves) and I won't have to spend all year pruning it?  A tree that will allow me to bind the scaffolding type pole to the rear of it (so you can't now see the pole)?

Any ideas please?

Thanks in advance all.

It's not the camera that's the problem.  It's the huge upright pole.  The camera is only the size of a Coffee Cup.  Therefore, I can always make an L shaped Bracket (coming off the Pole) pointing out with the camera fixed onto the end of that bracket.

Missed sentence 'It's the huge Pole'

Have a google for 'fastigiate' trees.  These are generally are narrow and upright growing and are available in quite a few varieties.

Or the Italian Cypress maybe https://www.ornamental-trees.co.uk/cupressus-sempervirens-pyramidalis-conifer-p880

Bump.

Excellent choice and congrats SB on the win :)

Just to add, if not too late, there is , as usual, a golden variety, Swane's Gold, if you want something a bit special.
