Hello

I'm new to buying wood in just for firewood as i've normally gotten by on tree surgery waste. A local estate has some Oak and Hawthorn sitting ride side in 8' lenghs. How much should i be looking at offering for the wood if they're willing to sell?

Thanks

Andy

maybe up your way, down this way you're looking between £45-£50!

Should be £39 + vat delivered. If we pay more we wont make anything. If prices keep rising I will give it a rest for a year or two. I cant charge more for the logs people have little money in their pockets as it is and the price of oil is low. If cord wood keeps rising they will kill the market for themselves.
