so when some one says all bars are interchangable they are wrong?

I think we have established that its the wrong bar!! Get them to send you a new bar problem solved:thumbup:

sometimes i find its the chain is to small which means the chain adjuster wont fit in.

When they ship new saws without the bar on there are two plastic spacers that need to be removed, they are fitted so the chain break etc. sit right as if a bar is fitted!! This one threw me for a while.

does this thread not worry anyone - that people can still buy a chainsaw without knowing how it works or even having a course on how to use one?

 

not dissing anyone - I know weve all got to start somewhere - but many moons ago when we attended college/training before we even started the saw we were taught how to take it to bits and back together again/safety features etc

 

even me - Mrs Logbaron have done my NPTC cs30/31 before I even helped start forestry - is it the cost of training that puts people off?

i think it is so wrong that anyone can buy a chainsaw of the net without any training....it is a leathal weapon

Now my next problem is which end do you cut with???..lol
