Careful now they quite often tear off when you stand on them, make sure you have a good anchor.

Thank you. Is it possible the this tree have a wierd car fumes like smell? I can feel this smell around the house and on the street and my neighbour said its the tree.

The good news is the smell of cut laurel is of almonds, the bad news is that its due to the cyanide compounds in the leaves. Cue a panic and  tree removal
