Not good to leave pegs no,don't usually myself,but dare i say it a few up the stem are maybe a good thing.For the cambium saver etc

If its a large stick or pole I leave a few pegs :blushing: . I always leave them on the same side directly above each other maybe 6 / 7 ft apart .

Maybe so he can rope in then knock out a 6ft piece and then lower his self down to next and so one and so forth.

 

Sounds like a quick way to self castrate to me!!!:scared1:
