Mines 01/17 built. No problem with the needle cage. Once bedded in its sweet. Pulling 18" .325 all day It's light, and cuts very fast with full chisel. The 241 is a domestic model and won't last for

Had one for ?6 years now and love it.  It has much poke for such a small saw.  Run it on a 14" bar; any more and you'll lose the benefit.

Great saw,as said above great power to weight ratio,14 "bar is optimum
