I have a load that you are welcome to- i bought about 100 and have tripped over them ever since:blushing: (i dont really do logs) but they vame from mole valley if i recall. :001_smile:

Cheers Tommer, that sounds like an ideal no. to test the water with. Doing a lot more logs nowadays and getting asked by a few old dears if I can supply bags rather than tip a load. If it takes off, I'll order scads. Where and when can I collect 'em?

Cheers to everyone else who took the trouble to reply.:thumbup1:

while we are on the subject and i dont want to hijack your thread but how long will the netted bags last for in a shed?is it possible to split timber wet and bag them straight away to dry for 6 months say and the bags will be ok to handle.

Make sure you store them in total darkness, if the sunlight gets at them they literally fall to pieces.
