Sorry to resurrect this thread, but that's a well thought out truck Peter 👍

I wouldn't mind doing something similar to replace my 7.5t

Just one question - for now! - are you able to use a road tow chipper with that configuration, and chip past the hiab?

Cheers...Al.

Sure! The kingpost is off centre, and depending where the chipper chute is you have to kink it slightly.

Is that a road tow hydraulic driven 10" farmi chipper?

Wow never seen 1 set up like that before on a trailer.

Fantastic pto machine and used a few different variations but never 1 on a trailer, what's it like?

It is indeed a farmi, it's got an 85hp Perkins engine, and it's on a turntable.

Works very nicely.

That I'd like to see some more pictures of, just love those chippers but not on stringy willow if it's a little dull. Is it a Home brew job?

Just looked at picture again and can now spot engine mounted next to the chamber on far side, neet.

That's a lot of chipper for 1800kg, I like it. Does it throw chip the length of your chip box when on the draw bar? I'm still winding what to do with my truck...
