Hired to a mate and some metal went through it.
Smashed the guts to pieces.
New rotor and lots of other bits.

Chipping like a new machine again now.

Bloody hell mate the sound of that almost brings me to tears, I personally couldn’t ever lend out a machine. You should see some of the guys down here that hire them and how they are used is shocking makes you wonder if it was there own would they treat it any different. Well glad you got it back up and running

To be fair mate he works with me a lot and is very used to that machine.

It’s just one of those things.

He’s one of only about 3 people I’d trust with that chipper.

Yes mate, £2133 lighter.

Accidents happen but that’s sickening... ??I don’t like the lads at work going at my socket set cos they don’t put stuff back in the right place so don’t think I could handle hiring gear out... hopefully he’ll pay up without too much grief!
Any chance you could get the measurements I was looking for at the start of the thread please? No panic, just before next weekend if possible....

What metal item went through the chipper to destroy it so?

Once we had some re-bar picked up in a bundle of dead laurel go through the Quadchip.

I still hear that in the dark watches of the night...
