Cheap water storage

Aldi are selling paddling pools, though it would be good way to store water for the veg garden, connected up to the water butts overflow....

Do you think it would last long?

 

I've been looking at some more permanent solutions but can't find anything that's as cheap as a water butt. The underground tanks, for example, seem to work out as more per litre than a butt from B&Q.

We get 1000 litre IBCs for £20 each and should last an age. Some of them do need a good cleaning out though.

If you know anywhere local where we can get these it would be great to know provided it does not affect your supply - the transport kills us!

Wrigleys used to be possible but red tape has ended that outlet.
