Meindl, other than Steve who else has tried both Haix and Meindl, to me there is no comparison.

last par was meindl - had haix for about 12 months now and not much difference really. otherthan the meindl is a bit lower in the ankle which i prefer. will be going back to meindl and getting the haix resoled.

no idea what hes on about there then. must have been confusing it with his jonsered helmet that was pink verging on pinker

:bawling: dont you remember the Lucky(?) helmet???? it was sorta cerise/pink/gay, you naturally chose the blue one over it.

I just bought a pair of Eltens again, yeah you my scoff, nay, even laugh but I like to wear them till they fall apart, Aquafells these ones, bit chunky than the standard boots but soft soles, this I like.

Sold a pair of chainsaw boots to another biker today this is the third pair in as many months. Are biker's boots that bad or more expensive?

probably the quality of the boots, I've had bike boots in the past claiming to be 100% waterproof, to find them slightly lacking, I'd opt for chainsaw boots with goretex anyday now!
