Timberwolf 150 reconditioning

Evening all.

just picked up a Timberwolf 2007 150 chipper.

can anyone send me in the direction of someone who re conditions them. Or just a big overhaul inclusive of engine and bodywork.

Now just back the truck up a bit!

 

Engine wise the v1505 is a masterpiece, no need to overhaul it if it runs ok, just filters etc. Otherwise, anvil, rotor bearings, roller blades.

 

How bad is it?

In South Wales, there is a TW dealer for a start! Other than that, there is a number of people who could do it, as it is only steel, nuts and bolts!

Do you not have time to do it yourself? Its really pleasing when you finish up with an as good as new machine all done in your own workshop!

Thanks all. Basically I’m as mechanically minded as a stone so just wanted someone to look over it, change things that may need changing and give it a full bill of health.

if I had time to do it myself that would also include a steep learning curve that may cause issues where maybe there weren’t any in the first place.

Yup, he would do a good job! Newport, Shropshire way and knows one end of a spanner from another.
