So here are a few pics of the Sequoia we took down earlier this week. Was a great job to do. Unfortunately I have been told by my doctor that I have a hernia and have to take it a little bit more easy than usual so I had to run the job and let the other lads climb but I did the felling once it was down to around 30ft.

Sorry, but its been a while since I checked in here. Beautiful work, and some great pics of the Sequoia removal. Thanks for sharing Snarlingbadger. Congrats on the new 88.

I run a 3120 for my bigger saw needs, but just had a really clean, low hour 090 fall in my lap.

Amazing work Erik, you have a frame of a super fit 25 year old man and some serious skills. In 43 and feel broken, inflammation and a bit of arthritis and now asthma is slowing me down so to see a man in his 50’s doing this level of work is inspiring!

I’ll keep coming back to this thread and watch all your vids!

I appreciate the kind words Stephen. I have been living with a chronic case of Lyme disease for 25 years, which really forced me to change my ways, begin living an extremely clean lifestyle, and to learn to truly care of my body.  Funny how something as devastating as Lyme has been a blessing to me in many ways. Everyone just assumed I was headed for an early grave or prison before Lyme showed up to saved my ass. Life really is a crazy, crooked road.

Very enjoyable thread to say the least. Interesting and inspiring life journey Erik, sounds like you have fought and won some very big battles.
Love the work you do... a different world. It’s great how you incorporate the old school and the new in your tree work.
Thanks for sharing.
