Moon bow

We have all spent lots of time outside , whats the most unusual thing youve seen                                                                                                                                                             Mine is seeing a moon bow late one cold winter evening , the other is having a sparrow hawk land on my head , must of thought it was a huge sparrow

i'd love to see a moonbow.

 

mine was an atmospheric phenomenon though but i don't actually know what it is???

 

i saw a rainbow when i was walking toward the sun? i thought that was impossible.

 

the sun was just above the horizon (about 20 min before it set) and to the left of it about a palms width away (at arms length obviously) was a section of a spectrum.

in my case there was a fair bit of wispy cloud rather than clear blue sky and for some reason only the section from 8-10 o clock was showing and not a full circle.

Thats weird , i had to google to see what i had scene , i had never heard of a moon bow

Ball lightening during a storm was a fairly strange phenomenon to witness
And I'm fairly certain I once witnessed a teenager without a phone in there hand but can't prove it unfortunately.

They're called an Icebow - caused by v.high altitude ice crystals - much more common than one might think - apparently. No idea why the colours are reversed - or are they not - haha !

That Yosemite rainbow video is mad. The fella is pretty enthusiastic about it. Couldnt quite get to the end.....
