Sorry slight derail. I've always had ifor trailers 12' flat, 14' triax, 10' tipper.

Just wondering do the indespension type setup ride any better than leafs. Never been a problem before but hate seeing the lucasmill bounce about on the quality potholed highways of Oxfordshire!

Been thinking about getting another tipper or a maybe box trailer for the job

Cheers

I have exactly the same thoughts watching my lucas. Often considered ( but never actually done) downrating the springs from 3.5 to 2.6t. Fine for the mill but poor for a good overhanging load of sawlogs.

I've put it in a 10' ifor on the single spring, def rides better but as you say rubbish for anything heavy.

I am slowly coming to the conclusion a panel van might be the way to go, just another vehicle to buy!

I'm thinking of changing up from a 2000kg ifor eurolight 8.5ft x5ft trailer to the LM106. Only worry is will it be to wide at 6'6"?

My ideal is getting my mini chipper and a good load of chip away in one trip. 8x5 is just a touch to small.
