Hi folks, I'm looking for a winch for a 40hp tractor. Must be remote capable and preferably as much pull as possible for a small tractor. I've seen krpan do a 4.5 t model to suit but rather pricy

Can you please suggest other makes and or models please?

Ta, Jon

Any EH winch is/should be remote compatible, but better bought(more cost effective) with the remote already fitted.

Google is your friend.

Though how many of the smaller winches, suited to a 40HP Tractor are likely to be so expensively(radio remote) equipped is doubtful?

Hi i have a igland  4201 on a 40hp kubota it's not on remotes, but wish I had got the remote kit when I bought it ,good solid but very simple winch been used a fair bit and seems to pull well for its size.

Tajfun .. there is a fella on here who recons his small tajfun on the alpine out pulls the igland and uniforest 4t winch’s he’s had by a clear mile... off that we brought a 8.5 tonne one that would flip a tractor if your not careful! Especially if your standing back with the remote and not watching it!

We use a tiny 2001 igland in our 35 Hp tractor , I think the iglands can all have remotes fitted from memory though ... it’s so light which is easy for taking on and off and manoeuvre to store and is very simple to maintain but has enough pull for small medium thinning.. still pulled some big lumps with it though doubled up though.
