540xp handle size/vibration

Hey,

Been using my new 540 for a couple of days now, it's got the stock (L) grip on it. My hand is numb as hell, much worse than it ever has been using a 201 or my cheap timberpro top handle (which has terrible vibration).

Just wondering if anyone is using the larger/smaller grips on their 540, and if it makes a difference for better or worse? I think the issue might be I'm having to grip the saw too much because i'm not using the XL grip?

The saw runs fine and I don't notice any serious vibration, any ideas?

Cheers, Mark

I’ve found the 540 one of the best top handles for anti vibes ... unless I’ve filled the rakers down too much ! Have you checked over the springs to see if they have broken ? I can’t see the grip being the problem unless a spring has snapped or is seriously bent.
