Try wearing ear plugs and defenders David. As you move about, sound will leak into the defenders. Ear plugs will offer a secondary defence. I now have some radio headphones, as I had the same problem, the music and the better quality defenders make all the difference, but I only use them for hedgetrims.

I have a ringin in my ears pretty much constantly!! It really sucks,mines due to playing drums in a heavy metal band though,i think?.....chainsaws probably dont help! haha

I wish I could go back in time to start wearing earplugs from day one. I HATE the noises in my head!!! I see FOOLS operating chainsaws sans hearing protection all the time, and all I can do is shrug my shoulders.

 

Eventually, they'll live to regret it. I know I do.
