Kanga Loaders

Does anyone have any expersience with these, more specifically the 2 series? Been looking at a avant loader to help with work and came across these. Didn’t know how they compare to the other loaders avaliable.

Very low lift capacity in comparison (100kg or there abouts) and doesn't lift very high. That being said...it is very small and I'd sooner have a machine that will lift 100kg and get into 99% of jobs than have a machine that'll lift 1t but will only get into 40% of jobs. Sort of a slow and steady wins the race scenario.

No machine will be perfect for everything, you've just got to look at your business model and clients/job sites and decide what will be the best for you.

The kanga are very well made and do a cracking job, I've not used the 2 series yet but have spent a lot of time on the 7 and 8 series

Obviously the kanga is narrow and a small lift capacity. MultiOne 2.3 has much better lift (530kg) capacity compared to the 2 series avant (350kg)

As Coletti said, limited lift in terms of height and weight. I looked at a used 'kanga kid' as I thought it might be useless for little jobs but the issue was it didnt have the height to tip into a transit tipper.

 

I feel they are behind the rest of the class. Cheaper obviously but a boxer, Vermeer or ditchwitch are far superior standon machines and the Avant and Multione ride in are another option.

I did look at a ditchwitch sk755 and was very impressed. It was a used one for circa £14k.

I looked a kanga kid, too big to be used on many domestic jobs but too small for everything else.. It also made a right mess turning..

Been looking at the kanga kid 216. Guess if it cant lift into the truck my muck truck is still the best mini mover. We work lots of narrow access.

Muck truck and a couple of waffle boards are a great tool. I only use my occasionally but I'd not be without it.

Where do you get the boards? Been using wood.

Ebay. £35 for two 1200mm ones. Super strong. I use them for the mini digger, stuck vans etc.

 

I rest them against the back of the pickup and because of the grippy coating I can drive the muck truck straight up. literally a 2 in 1 climb. Very inpressive.
