Ya reckon? ive tried having it longer and it doesnt twist the rope as much but i then cant reach it when stretched out. Im now using more wraps at the top and less braids and that seems to stop the twisting a bit.......

Whats the reason for the prussic and revolver? im assuming the revolver is attached to your harness.

Enables you to extend/move away the HC from you without Connect/reconecting a bridge or such, you can go hand over hand below the HC on ascends... Very smoth...!

the rope prussik works a heap better than the webbing i used to have there and bites down nowhere near as much.

ive been using the 'o' rig techinique and think its wicked on long ascents. i have a bit more trust in it when the friction knot is short tho. really need to know its gonna hold when you can only just reach it. cool system. when configured properly, the hitch climber is very hard to beat.

Oh i see. Then you can just take it back in after assending. Thats getting a try out soon
