Evening Folks , has anyone attempted to repair or Rebuild a Track or Final drive motor on a mini digger  .

My Kobelco has decided to spew the Drive  making Hell of a racket, sounds like the half shaft stripping.

Drive motor is off and on bench at the moment, have removed the  pump and there is needle bearings floating about too !

Looking fairly terminal at moment and have priced a New unit up @ £1400 .?

Regularly change the oil and the final drives would outlast the machine - don't, and you know the rest.

Same goes for your truck diff.

I have regularly changed oil but Seals went and soil entered, my fault I should of got seals done straight away , machine is 18 years old but very clean for its age .I have owned it for 10 years .
