Yes .............  Maybe  as you get near the end of the life of the cutter you could step down a size in file but its no biggie really .

Boggle, '3/8' doesn't refer to the size of the tooth as such, it refers to drive link length - the gap between rivets so to speak.  A Picco tooth is just smaller than the tooth usually associated with a 3/8" drive link.

Ahhh so that what picco means, i did wonder. I need to reaserch all this a bit further.
