^^^ That's my argument too. The joys of matrix management is that my line manager(s) aren't from an arb background, so they're reliant on my advice to the CPD that I need.

Mwahahaha.

Sooooo.... I was good and left it to the correct people in the chain to book this and guess what? They never got round to it and it then sold out. Grrrrrrrr.

I then went rogue, put my name down for the extra day that they were considering running and now have a confirmed place that I've gone ahead and booked myself. I am so ridiculously over excited about it already.

Have you heard/met him before?

He’s very, shall we say, entertaining! I got introduced to him by Mick Boddy a few years ago. Definitely a character :D

I haven't had that pleasure yet, but you're not the first person to say that he's slightly, ummm, unconventional.

The promo pics are quite telling.

Very good day at Bradgate Park yesterday for the Field Day. The Park’s an early Deer Park just chock full of Ancient/Veteran trees, mostly oak but a good few chestnuts and old monkey puzzles.

Claus was as entertaining as usual:D

Have been here, is it right the Oaks were topped due to the beheading of Lady Jane Grey, or is it an urban myth? in either case some really varied looking specimens!

The fellow from the Park mentioned that, all he could say was that there was no historical proof to the story IIRC. I'll ask Mick Boddy tomorrow though.
