Identification of a Tree?

This is a bit of a strange question, I have a 1900s painted postcard that shows a "Fairy Tree", it no longer exists at its location but am trying to discover what kind of tree it is.
Is it a Beech, Ash, Hawthorn or other? to me it looks like a Beech but am I wrong?

I reckon beech is a good bet, but hard to be sure. Have you looked into its history? Why does it have that name, and is it mentioned in any local history books perhaps?

there is no history of it at all, all there is, is that one postcard. they are mainly an irish thing but the laird of estate has no irish connection only scots and norse.

it is unknown why it was located here or what it represented. its a total mystery.

The majority of trees on the estate is beech, ash and sycamore. there is the odd other kinds but very sparsly populated. For example there is only one sweet chestnut and one willow tree that existed but willow was cut down in 1912, and 3 acorn trees, and 4 scots pine.

It is NOT a dule tree, as explained there are several trees and know their locations. it is specificically the Fairy Tree I am looking for.

Plus that wiki entry is incorrect, it describes the resting tree which was completely different from the dule tree which was located half a mile away.

The main significant trees located there are/were:

Courting Tree

Resting Tree

Sweet Chestnut Tree

Dule Tree

Fairy Tree

Yew Tree

All are individual trees and locations are confirmed except the Fairy Tree,. Wiki seems to think 4 of those trees are the same tree which is totally wrong.

as it mentioned a lady fairy I thought it might be the same tree. back to the drawing board
