I'm half on the hunt for a knackered chipper that I'll have to keep throwing money/time at until I eventually give up realizing I've spent more than I would have than just buying new. There seem to be a lot of people on eBay wanting you to email them then arrange a bit it now through eBay before you have looked at it....like this http:// https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F162752031846

And this http:// https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F253257731747

The second one the fella has sent an email with pics and buy it now price and he said:

"The Item is in excellent condition.

The buy it now price including shipping is £2500 (delivered anywhere ). If you decide to buy it but we have to close the deal through eBay , i will put a buy it now price for you only. And you will also have 2 days for inspection, if you do not like it for any reason you will receive a full refund.

Thank you, and I hope to hear from you soon.

2008 greenmech chipper great machine it's my second chipper gets used hardly ever but we take it out once a week to keep her going just been serviced last month by browns at Leighton buzzard spent 3k on her new rollers new belt tensioner new pump see photos turned blades its the circular ones so better on the wallet turn them 3 times before sharpening "

Seems weird....any one have experiences of this type of thing?

No multiple pictures of the machine, first one has only one feedback, but his instructions are quite advanced, the other I’d bet is a hacked account, crap email address in the extended description, original description of a legitimate sale copy and pasted.

The ones that make me laugh are the ones from parts of Scotland were the picture shows a background with not a tree in sight !

Stubby, it goes to show how good the chipper is, and why its no longer needed.

Leighton buzzard is only down the road from me. Equally I use browns so if your not local and want someone to take a look let me know. Can also speak with guys at browns etc.

Thanks for the offer. Sounds like a scam though!
