Mines the 750kg version and one spring so could be.

Can't see how you'd get 2 springs on it though as it's all inline

Thanks All for the advice Think I'll get a dremmel and replace the spring

Mine's a 2009 model with a single spring with a couple of adjuster nuts top and bottom I had to remove the whole unit and put some heat on it to free up the nuts!!!

Also WesD I take it the £180 was for parts only ?

Yes parts delivered. It isn’t a hard task to change them. 

 

I was pretty full on today but ill post pics tomorrow.

Mine is the full fat so that's probably part of the weight saving. The springs are mounted either side of the top roller. All will be explained when I get a pic in the morning.

used a grinder with a sanding disc on top and bottom rollers to good effect, didnt take out the bottom roller but seem to remember one of the lads found a plate that could be removed on the bottom which helped accsess. (didnt actually do the job myself).
