Jensen Feed Rollers

Hi All

My Jensen A530 doesn't seem to be pulling in the brush as well as it used to I've changed the knives and adjusted the spring but it's still a little reluctant

Do I need to run a grinder over the rollers and do I need to remove them to do this? Any other ideas would be appreciated

it you want to use a grinder its rollers out time, top roller easy enough and lifts out when you undo the wire holding it down, bottom is alot more involved

I beg to differ, we touched up a Greenmech with a dremmel to instant effect, did them in situ.

The springs and roller bearing are supposed to be changed every 500 hours, we have just done ours at a cost of roughly £180 and the difference is staggering. We also gave the top roller a grind when it was out and the bottom roller a touch up with the dremmel in situ.
