I have just come across this site, and realise you posted some years ago now. We live in Wetherby but are moving abroad. We have a huge mound of logs and some that still need cutting. Is this of any interest to you.

Just to let you know penfold that LCC are planning to build a new town on Leeds University's farms at Bramham - c4,000 houses - so plenty of new affordable houses not far from Thorner soon?

I do not think they will be that affordable also its accessed by a single track road and in places it will be virtually impossible to widen due to certain land owners

It's been accepted for housing/mixed development by LCC - out for public consultation soon. Our slippery MP loves the idea and there's nothing to protect best grade farmland in LCC planning policies.
