Armillaria here up to 2.5m (on the top, at the base of the right hand limb) and all round the base of this dead oak. It was alive in 2013, with only Fistulina present at the time.

How high have you seen Armillaria fruiting? 66d7c47146a0658d766ed75e992bec22.jpgba060b27f255ff2c5928edeb58d613de.jpg

That's some serious fructification there David! It's not something I see at height often, around 3 or 4m on a poplar stem is the highest I've seen before...

On another note, how the hell do you file your photos?! You seem to have this remarkable ability to pull up a raft of images relating to any given situation at the drop of a hat...

Just have them in individual species folders on an external hard drive that goes around with me so I can uploaded either on a lap top or the office pc when ever I need to get hold of them. So I add shots straight from the Canon or phone straight in to the specific folders. That's as long as I know what they actually are of course. I have folders full of unknowns that I'll hopefully eventually get around to sorting.

Just had a look and can see that there are 500 folders containing 18,054 individual fungi images............blimey, I've got some sort of problem ain't I :D

It's not a problem until it interferes with life in a negative way. Has your wife been kicked out of bed yet to make room for tripods and hard drives? ;)
